Awards and Points System

1. Members in good standing are eligible for year-end awards.

2. Only Diamond D Barrel Productions events will be approved for year end points/awards.

3. An accumulative points systems will be used and will be the only means of qualifying for club end of year awards.

4. Points are based on a horse and member combination. Horse and member combinations are eligible for as many year-end awards as they earn.

5. Horse name must be entered on entry form or points will not be issued. Only use 1 name per horse for points to be given to the correct horse.

6. The following are the points awarded for class places.

1st place – 6 points

2nd place – 5 points

3rd place – 4 points

4th place – 3 points

5th place – 2 points

6th place – 1 point

7. If there is a tie of points, money will be the tie breaker. If there is a tie of points and money, the rider/horse with the most attendance will break the tie.

8. After awards are given out, no changes will be made.
